Our pioneering work in cardioimmunology has captured national attention, with The Australian today reporting on the publication of our foundational cardiology data in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), one of the world’s most influential cardiology journals.

The peer-reviewed paper, “CD14 blockade modulates macrophage-mediated immunological injury in a translational model of reperfused ST-elevation myocardial infarction”, co-authored by Dr Daniel Donner of the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and an international team of collaborators, represents a significant scientific validation of our strategy to target CD14 in the acute setting of ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
